With Valentine's Day just around the corner, it's time to finalize your plans. For a fun and romantic date, Philadelphia has lots to offer. Below are a few great options to make your Valentine's Day memorable.


The Blue Cross RiverRink Winter Fest is always a fun date during the season, and on Valentine's Day, they offer a special Sweetheart Skate night. You may choose from four sessions at an hour and a half each. The rink offers holiday flowers, a complimentary champagne lounge, and photos to commemorate the occasion. Sessions start at 5:00 p.m. The Rothman Ice Rink at Dilworth Plaza is also hosting a Sweetheart Skate on Valentine's Day, complete with a complimentary rose, couples skates, and photos.


A horse and carriage ride is a fantastic way to set the mood. The Howell Living History Farm will provide free rides this Valentine's Day. Guests can tour the scenic farm as well as the house, where they can purchase food and beverages.


Listen to beautiful love songs at historic Arch Street Friends Meeting House for Love Notes: A Special Valentine's Day Concert. Shane Frederick, a noted pianist and vocalist, will lead an ensemble as he enthralls the audience along with vocalists Jacob Winterstein, C. Young, and Michael Andrews.


Another venue featuring romantic music on Valentine's Day is the Kimmel Center's Verizon Hall. Principal guest conductor Stephane Deneve will lead the Philadelphia Orchestra for an evening of heartwarming love songs.


Dancers can get their groove on at the Congregation Beth El-Ner Tamid, where the Philadelphia Sing Dance Society is putting on a Valentine's Day dance party. A beginner's lesson will take place at 7:30 p.m. The main event follows at 9:00 p.m.


If you don't want to dance but would enjoy watching, check out The Barnes Foundation on Valentine's Day. The museum will feature performances from the Koresh Dance Company, including a tour of the galleries and live music. Guests will enjoy complimentary chocolates and champagne.
